The Maya culture is one of the most surprising civilizations of the world. It has given Mexico an impressive testimony of architecture, which you can only discover once you explore the states that make up this region in the southeast of the Republic.
In Tabasco, visit Comacalco Archeological Zone. Or if you're in Campeche, visit Edzna and the impressive city of Calakmul, which also forms part of an ecological reserve. In the Yucatan, discover the secrets of the cities of Uxmal, Chichen Itza, Dzibilchaltun and Ek Balam.
