Missions & Haciendas
The peninsular territory of Baja California, in the north of Mexico, and the Yucatan, in the southeast, offer two types of excursions, both filled with adventure and a great cultural richness. In Baja California, you can visit the adobe buildings that served as missionary churches during the colonization of the frontier and which also served to convert the locals to Catholicism.
In the Yucatan, visit the old maguey-producing haciendas, which was the main activity of the local economy between the 19th and 20th centuries. Some of these buildings have been converted into luxury hotels of excellent service and ambiance. Enjoy beaches, cenotes, ecological reserves and the impressive culture of the Maya archeological zones.
